Backyard Fun!

We got Gracyn a water activity table, and quickly learned that she needs to be in her bathing suit or just in her diaper when playing with it. She drenched herself the minute she got her hands in it. She had so much fun though.

She was cleaning off all her graffiti work from the side walk chalk with her wet hands. She likes to try and drink the water.

Dancing to the music from her sit & spin. We got her pool out for her to play in too. She's still not the biggest fan. As soon as she got in, she wanted out. She's signing and saying "all done" here and was ready to get out as soon as she got in.

Big Girl Bows

FINALLY.....Gracyn has some hair! Granted, it's only growing in the back and some on top, but at least it's growing! The sides are still pretty bare. Her hair is coming in just like mine did though. There is just enough on top to hold a little bow. I've really been working with her on trying to keep it in. She's getting better....She's got the sweetest little curls in the back that are just SO cute!! We're also trying to move on to the real head bands with bows. She likes to take it off and put it back on herself. They slide forward a little bit, but she pushes them back on her own. I'm not sure if she's ready for them or not....we'll see.

Swimming at Nana's

We went swimming today at Nana's. We were waiting for Ava and Towns to get there so I got a few pictures with my phone. I was too busy once we got to the pool to take any more... :(

Gracyn wasn't the biggest fan of the water....maybe it's because she took at header into the water as soon as she got into the baby pool. As long as she was glued to my side, she was okay. Hopefully she'll get back to loving the water again.

Act Fast....

When I do the laundry, I have to be quick to fold and put things away. If not....Gracyn has the time of her life getting into them and unfolding everything! She can do it in the blink of an eye too...that girl is fast!! Here she is with my pajamas....Playing Peek-a-Book with Drew's running shorts!

Obsession!

I know I've said this before....but Gracyn is seriously obsessed with shoes! If she sees one, she will try to put it on, regardless if she already has a shoe on her foot or not. Here are some recent shoe shots....

She already had her Sunday shoes on and was ready for church, but she had to slip on Daddy's shoes right over them.Pajamas and Daddy's sandals...what a great combo! :)

I get worried when I can't hear her playing and she is usually concentrating and trying to put on a shoe. She was really trying hard here.I have a love/hate relationship with her Crocs. I hate them because I don't think they're cute at all....but she can put them on by herself and LOVES them. They are the best for playing outside and going to get the mail. We're working on right foot/left foot--she has no clue that there is a difference! :) I think I'll get this look a lot--"Seriously mom, get the camera out of my face and leave me alone!" :)

New Favorite Accessory

This hat has become Gracyn's new favorite accessory. She wants to wear it ALL the time--with or without a bow in. She cracks me up!

Sleeping Beauty

Making Music!

This little girl LOVES music! She likes to listen to it, sing, dance and make her own music too! She's a pro on her harmonica and loves to play her drum and maracas. Drew and I are amazed at her rhythm because she always claps on the beat. It makes my heart smile when we're in the car and she starts clapping to the praise music we're listening to. I hope it's a lifetime of love with music.

Fun in the Sun!

We got out Gracyn's little swimming pool and new octopus sprinkler that Mimi got her for Easter. She wasn't much of a fan of either of them. So, Drew, being the AWESOME Daddy that he is, put on his suit and joined her.She liked the sprinker a lot more when he was holding her since it kept getting in her eyes. She would NOT get in the pool though. So, Drew got in there too....HILARIOUS! There wasn't much room left for her, but she didn't mind. Of course we have to wear our sunglasses! And bracelet...I think she ended up having a good time thanks to Daddy's participation!A kiss for the BEST Daddy!!

Miss Manners

Gracyn says "TANK" now for thank you and it's just about the sweetest thing to hear! When I refill her cup with milk and hand it to her, or give her some cheese or whatever else she's wanting--melts my heart to see the smile on her face, her big brown eyes light up and to hear her say "TANK"!! Oh, how I LOVE her!!!

Cousin Play Time!

Ava and Towns came over to play. Gracyn could not have been more excited to see Ava! They had a ball playing together in the backyard. It's neat to watch the girls play together now that Gracyn is getting older.
