Tennis Lessons

Gracyn had her first tennis lesson last week. She and Piper are taking lessons together. How cute are they?!

She LOVED that her tennis outfit was PINK! She thought she looked so cute in it and said she wanted to wear it for the rest of the day! Ha!

The little ball boy. He thought it was so fun picking up the balls at first--until he realized that they kept coming and he was never going to be done! So, he decided that playing on the ipad was a lot better! Next year he'll be old enough to take lessons too!

Gracyn started to get the hang of it towards the end. She was hitting a lot of balls over the net.

But, in all honesty--there was a lot of stick and rollie pollie finding going on too!

Their coach is the sweetest little old man--so patient with these two silly little girls!!

It was quite entertaining to watch....I can't wait to see her "play" again!!;)

Father's Day 2014

So thankful that God has given me more than I could have ever hoped or imagined with this man!

The kids were so excited to give Daddy his presents. Hudson picked out some candy for him--and one for himself claiming that it was one of Daddy's favorites too! Ha!

Gracyn made him a paper weight with a rock at school. She painted it PINK and it says, "My dad rocks!" She was SO proud of it!

We made him some chocolate chip cookies and let him eat as many as he wanted because it was his special day!

A good game of "War" and "Go Fish." This Daddy is the B-E-S-T!!!

Hot Wheels Party Part 2

Hudson's Hot Wheels Party

Hudson wanted a Hot Wheels birthday party this year. So, that's what he got! He also wanted a water slide--and was bummed when they came to set it up and saw that it wasn't a Hot Wheels Water Slide...it was "just a plain one." I didn't realize that's what he thought he was getting with his "Hot Wheels Water Slide Party."

I made cups for everyone for the party favors and filled them with Hot Wheels cars and toys.

Pop made a chalkboard to keep outside on the fence. I decorated it and then a rain storm came and washed it all away. I wasn't about to redo it...good thing I got a picture beforehand! :)

Day of FOUR!

It was a day full of celebrating Hudson turning FOUR!! He woke up and came downstairs--he always carries his blanket down with him. 

 

Then he found his new scooter and decided to take it for a spin! Now he doesn't have to ride Gracyn's princess one anymore! 

 

Drew had an 8:00am meeting, so we went to Krisy Kreme for donuts at 6:30--it was really early!!

After we dropped Gracyn off at VBS, we headed to the mall. He wanted to park on the top level which is the fourth floor--how appropriate!!

 

 They also just love walking across this bridge!

 He wanted to go to the Lego store first...and they even gave him a free Lego set of a slice of cake!

Then we went to the Disney store and picked up some more birthday freebies and grabbed a chocolate chip M&M cookie as we left to go pick up Gracyn. We came home and ate lunch, took naps and then they had gymnastics. For dinner, Hudson had decided that he wanted to go to Chuck-E-Cheese....fun times!! His favorite game is the milk jug ball throw--and he's pretty good at it too!!

The both had a blast!

 He wanted an ice cream cake...so we got one. Singing Happy Birthday.

 It was a day FULL of birthday fun!! Happy Birthday Huddy Buddy!!
