Sing Song 2014

Gracyn and I took a girls trip last weekend to ACU for Sing Song. It was so fun to be able to spend the weekend with my precious life-long friends--AND to see our kiddos all playing together! We spent the evening swimming and the kids were THRILLED!! We swam until the pool closed...it was almost 11!!

Gracyn enjoyed a PINK ice cream cone from Chick-fil-a. It tasted like vanilla, but I guess they made it pink for Valentine's Day. She LOVED it!!

Here's a shot at the end of Sing Song. This is where we all stand and sing, "The Lord Bless You and Keep You"--my FAVORITE part of the whole show!!

These girls all hold such a special place in my heart. I can't believe that we've been friends for almost 20 years!! We missed Laura & Mallory--and Sherry had to leave early.

Valentine's Day!

Here are the Valentines the kids gave to their friends this year. Gracyn gave heart sunglasses...

...and Hudson gave cars.

Gracyn had to make a box this year to put her valentines in. I made the mistake of letting her look on Pinterest for ideas. Once she saw the castle box--her heart was set! So, if a princess wants a castle, that's what she'll get!! :) I collected boxes for days....and she was really good about giving me her opinion in the construction process!!

She had so much fun decorating it with princess stickers. Hudson enjoyed watching!

Gracyn's teachers gave them this mustache, but she refused to put it on. So, Hudson gave it a go. How cute is he??!

The both got new little lunchboxes and some little toys to go inside. They are the perfect size to take to restaurants! They also got some gold coins...which they ate for breakfast!

He was pretty excited about all his new construction vehicles.

Happy Valentine's Day! My heart is SO full of love for my family!!

The Harlem Globetrotters

Drew took Hudson to see the Harlem Globetrotters. Hudson had watched a Scooby Doo episode with them on it and when the commercial came on that the Globetrotters were going to be coming to town, Hudson knew who they were and wanted to go see them. Ha! So, Drew got tickets for the two of them to go. We met Drew for dinner before hand so he could get Hudson. Here are these two saying goodbye to each other as we were going our separate ways. Can I just say that my heart melted!

Even though they can fight like crazy....I know just how much they really love each other. 

 Drew got Hudson his own Sprite to drink at the game and he said it was gone in about 20 seconds. He was THRILLED to get his very own sprinkle ice cream bar! This kid sure does have a sweet tooth!!!

They had a great time! So did Gracyn and I--we went shopping! :) I'm so glad the boys could spend some time together doing things they love too!

Soccer Star!

Here's our little soccer star!! They've moved on to soccer in Hudson's sports class. He did really awesome!! He was one of the only ones that really knew what to do and what was going on. It's because he did Soccer Shots in the fall. He even scored a goal!!

Meme and Pop brought Hudson back a shark t-shirt from their cruise. It's his new favorite. He's wearing it every.single.day.-----morning.noon.and night! This was him after he couldn't find it. (I'd put it in the dirty clothes hamper in our closet.)

This is what it looks like when I don't iron for a month...and this was after putting a dent in the pile after an hour & a half! Sheesh!!

Hudson LOVES to hop on this 4-wheeler every time we leave Costco. He keeps asking me if he can use his Christmas money to buy it! Keep dreaming buddy!!
