This is what I see when Hudson wants me to hold him. He'll pull himself up my leg and just look at me....precious boy!! I wish I could just sit and hold him all day long--he's growing up WAY TOO fast!!
*Last month, he had 2 teeth, and now he's up to 6 with 2 more on their way. The past few weeks have been rough around here. I can see one on the bottom about to pop through. Poor baby!
*He's getting some curls in the back--so cute! But don't worry, I won't let them get too long! :) I just love how he crinkles his nose when he smiles and laughs now!
*He's understanding more and more these days--I love to watch him think something through and respond when I ask or tell him something.
*He LOVES to clap his hands. If I start singing, "If you're happy and you know it..." he'll start to clap his hands. So sweet!
*He loves to open and close doors--which makes me SO nervous!
*He really likes to walk holding onto my fingers....and then he'll realize he can get there faster crawling, and falls to his knees.
Of course Sissy had to get in on the picture taking too!
I can't believe he'll be one in less than a month now!!!!

Hudson hears me open the dishwasher, and he instantly appears at my feet--without fail! Sweeping, ironing and vacuuming are other chores that I can't seem to accomplish without a little helper right in the middle of everything. Nap times sure does fly by when my list is never ending! He sure is cute though! :)
Gracyn is officially out of her crib--we turned it into a toddler bed. She's such a big girl now!
She was so excited when she got out of the bath and saw her new bed! She couldn't wait to get in it. Hudson likes to crawl up there too. 
We did it on a Friday night to have the weekend to get used to it. The worst night came on my watch--Sunday night. She fell out of bed 5 times!! It was a LONG night! I worried that I wouldn't hear it on the monitor--nothing to fear though, I heard the, "THUD," loud and clear, followed by crying. She did better last night--I only got up once with her. She's a wild sleeper--flipping and flopping all over the place, so Drew and I expected this. She stays in bed for the most part. She's been getting up to tell us one more thing after we put her down, but then gets back in and stays put. She'll wait in her bed in the mornings and after nap for us to get her. Next to go will her her beloved paci. How did she get this big so fast???
We were all looking forward to Gracyn's dance recital...and let's just say, that she did not disappoint! She was so excited to put on her outfit and go to her recital. She really didn't have much to say when we got there---she was taking it all in though.
I loved watching her sit and wait with her friends. 
Her tap dance was to "Singing in the Rain." I'm not sure what she did from her routine--she just made stuff up as she went. She was ALL over the place--literally!
She did this pose and raised her eyebrows at the crowd right at the beginning--hysterical!
At one point she walked right up to the edge of the stage and tapped all by herself--like she had a solo, but she DID NOT! The crowd cracked up at her!
And here's the finale...notice our daughter is the one doing the splits--AWESOME! Seriously, she's a MESS!I just had to get a picture of Gracyn while she was sleeping the other night. I was cracking up at the paci hanging on her thumb. Pretty soon she'll be out of her crib and in a big girl bed and then she'll eventually have to give up her paci.....my baby is growing up too fast! Slow down sweet Gracyn Kate!!
I got this tunnel for the kids to play in and Hudson LOVES it! He laughs hysterically if you come in the opposite way! He crawls through the whole thing so fast and comes out with a huge grin on his face. We sure do love this little boy!!
Every time I turn around, Graycn has something on her head--buckets are her favorite. She's done this since she was a baby--silly girl!
One of Hudson's favorite toys is this microphone that plays, "Bibbity, Bobbity, Boo."
Here she is stuck with a bucket around her neck and shoulder. Drew made sure to get a picture first before he rescued her--got to document the important things in life! :)
The pink chair has become a popular spot in our house. Unfortunately for Hudson, it's Gracyn's pink chair, and she never lets him forget it. Once in a while though, he's able to sneak a few minutes and sit on her throne--and he loves every second of it! We all can't wait for Hudson's birthday when he gets his very own chair!!
We took a road trip to visit some family and friends. We spent A LOT of time in the car--the kids did GREAT--and we enjoyed spending time with loved ones.
We drove to Wichita Falls on Friday and spent time with Aunt Dallas and Uncle Steven and baby Caroline. Pa Pa Ed joined us there too.

The kids and Drew went for a swim--it was WAY too cold for me. I think Hudson felt the same way--he didn't stay in for long.
Gracyn turned into a little fish and I really had to watch her because she would just jump right in, even if Drew wasn't looking.

Then on Saturday, we drove to Altus, OK to visit Drew's great Aunt Francis. Aunt Janie & Uncle Marv joined us from OKC too. We had a great time visiting with family. I wish I would've taken more pictures of everyone together. But, it was a lot of work keeping up with these two!

On Sunday, we drove to Ft. Worth to see Tara & Dwight and their kiddos and Monica. Wish I would've thought to take some pictures....It was a great weekend, but I'm looking forward to staying home for a while. Traveling with little ones is hard work!
