Fall FUN!

We went to Cornerstone's Fall Carnival again this year...and it didn't disappoint! The kids loved it! It was HOT and Drew made sure we were aware of it! Ha! He wouldn't have lasted a bit this summer at Fiesta Texas with us!! :) The kids rode the rides and had tons of fun!

They loved this obstacle course jumpy thing. The raced each other over and over again!

Played in the ball crawl...

And the night ended with a fireworks show!! Hudson and Drew decided to stay home and watch the World Series, so it was just Gracyn and me. She loved belting out "Let it Go" and sitting in the front seat as we waited for the fireworks to start.

 It was SUCH a fun family day!! Making memories in my heart!!

 

Las Lomas Fall Festival & Football Celebration

 Gracyn had a festival at her school last weekend. She was SO excited to go!! It was so fun to watch her with her friends and get so excited about seeing the teachers and staff.  Love the kindergarten spirit!! The very first thing that we had to do when we got there was track down the smencil booth. They are smelly pencils and Gracyn got three!

Hudson had a great time too!! He really wanted to send someone into the dunk tank. He got close!!

After the festival, we went to Hudson's end of football season celebration. They gave out the trophies and were showing Frozen. He is SO proud of that thing!!!

 

Gracyn was beside herself to see Elsa and Anna there!

She sang and danced her way through "Let it Go." (And the whole movie too, really!)  

What a FUN night!! 

Art Class

We signed Gracyn up to take an art class for the month of October. It's a free class offered by an art college downtown. She.has.loved.it!! She's gotten to try out so many different types of art and every one of them is her FAVORITE!! She is SO proud of all her art work!

She really loves to paint. We did water color painting almost every weekend. 

She was SO excited to get to make something out of clay. She made a tea cup and a pumpkin. But sadly, the pumpkin didn't make it through the firing.

Then she got to paint her tea cup. 

She tried out Origami and made a mommy and baby swan.

She absolutely loved weaving. She asked if we could stop by Hobby Lobby on our way home and pick up a kit. I see a lot of pot holders in our future! ;)

She enjoyed doing some chalk art.

She even got to design her own shirt using a silk screen.

It's been so fun to spend this time together every weekend doing something that she loves..."Arting!" We can't wait to sign up for it again....and next year Hudson can join us!!  

Pumpkin Patch 2014

We went to visit the Pumpkin Patch right across from our house again this year. It's crazy to see how they have grown over the years. It's going too fast...SLOW down!!!
