Hudson has found a new favorite toy...the bar stools!
I have to rescue him from them every time I turn around! He's constantly trying to pull up on them.
They are on the tile, so it makes me nervous for him to hang out on them and I can't seem to get to him fast enough these days. He's growing up so quickly!!
I had a hard time just picking a few pictures that I liked....so I just thought I'd post them all. I just can't seem to get enough of this little cutie!
I think she liked the fact that it was kind of like her paci, and she got to suck on it whenever she wanted to.
Hudson decided he'd like to try it too and quickly made his way over to us.
Hudson is 8 months old....he's going to be a year old before I know it! I guess I should start thinking about his birthday, but it feels like I just had him! It's going by WAY too fast!!
Hudson has two little teeth now. He had a rough time getting them in. You can see them peeking out on the bottom.
He's still eating anything I give him--but I don't think he really cares much for bananas. I'm nursing him every 4 hours too. He's still doing the army crawl. Every now and then I see him doing the real thing, but he can get somewhere faster doing it his way, so he flops back down on his tummy. I also think it's because his thumb is easier to reach his mouth when he's on his tummy. This boy sure does love his thumb!
He's pulling up on anything and everything these days. I've got to keep a close eye on him! He's such a happy little guy. He's started becoming really attached to me lately--he whines if anyone else holds him and he can see me and starts to cry when I hand him over to the nursery at church and BSF. :(
We sure do love this little man!! I just love how his hands are folded in this one. :)
Look who can stand up in their crib? Hudson learned how to pull up in his crib after his nap yesterday, and I got the pleasure of rescuing him several times last night. Fun times! :)
And then Gracyn got up there and knocked him down....
Gracyn spotted the car cart at HEB the other day....and they both enjoyed their first ride in it. I'm sure it won't be the last time she requests to ride it either. :)
They were having so much fun at first....Hudson was laughing his head off and having a ball.
But, then Gracyn started giving "BIG hugs" a little too hard, and a little too often, and someone wanted OUT really quickly.
Gracyn was so excited to have Hudson along for the ride!
They were so cute as I pulled them down the sidewalk.
The happy riders didn't last long. As soon as we got the the mailbox, Hudson was crying and Gracyn wanted to walk and I was left pulling a wagon with no one in it! Better luck next time! :)
Gracyn spent the day hanging out with Mimi, Pop and Nana while Drew, Hudson and I drove to Austin to shop at Ikea. What an adventure that was! We were gone ALL day...and she NEVER once mentioned us. She was more excited to see Hudson when we got back than me or Drew!! I think she really enjoyed all the love and being the center of attention. Who wouldn't though?
She loves to play outside when she's over there. She plays hard and has a blast!

Gracyn was excited to go out and see the snow, but as soon as she realized how cold it was, she wanted back inside rather quickly.
We enjoyed having Daddy home for the day since the whole city shut down. Looks like we may have to wait awhile for it to happen again though.
This little girl was having a hay day with her fudgesicle....I think it was the first time I've given her one and she LOVED it! Can you tell? She had a hard time learning the concept of eating it quickly though and was irritated at me for rushing her

Drew gets major points for sending me three dozen roses--quite a surprise!! Way to go Daddy!:) The kids each got a new hooded bath towel.
Gracyn also got a few treats from the $1 section at Target. Bracelets, Tinkerbell socks, and some new sunglasses with hearts on them. She is in love!! :)
But, the big hit of the evening was the card we got her. It sings the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme song. I can't tell you how many times we've heard it already.....
She's dancing the night away and having a ball!
Gracyn got this Mickey coloring booklet from her Aunt Dallas and Uncle Steven for Christmas--and let me tell you how AWESOME it is!!
All you use is this little paintbrush that's attached to a little water bottle. When the water touches the paper, the color appears--but the best part about it is that once it dries, it loses it's color and you can do it over and over again.
There are four scenes, and once she finishes the last one, the first one is dry and needs to be redone. She sat and colored for 45 minutes, and all I heard from her was a request to fill up the water again. GENIUS! There is no mess either! I LOVE this thing and so does she! THANKS AUNT DALLAS AND UNCLE STEVEN!!
(She kept getting annoyed at me for trying to take her picture while she was busy coloring....)
