Of course, Gracyn couldn't let Hudson enjoy himself alone....
Gracyn likes to tickle Hudson--and he really gets to laughing, until she gets a little too rough and then it turns to crying. She means well though... (He's laughing here, by the way.)
Hudson is 7 Months old--WOW!
He's always on the go and I really have to keep an eye on him now--just when I could start to let my guard down with Gracyn. :) He's still not fully crawling yet--he's almost there though. I went to get him up yesterday morning, and he was sitting up in his crib. I was so surprised when I saw him just sitting there--I'm not ready for him to be growing up this fast!! He's trying to pull up on everything too! So, we decided to lower his crib this evening. I don't know why I'm having such a hard time with this!
Hudson and Gracyn are starting to play together--somewhat. She's really so sweet with him and when he's crying, she tries to give him a toy he'd like. I don't think he's quite as scared of her now like in the beginning. :) I have to say, it's gotten so much easier, the bigger the both of them have gotten. It was tough at the beginning, but we are loving the place we are in now and the life God has given us!
Oh, what joy this little boy bring us! We are so thankful that God blessed us with this sweet boy!!
I got a phone call with Drew asking..." So, how bad would it be if Hudson ate a chocolate croissant?" Gracyn left it where he could get to it and Hudson thoroughly enjoyed gnawing all over it--as you can see! (By the way....the shirt is still soaking in Oxiclean--round 2!)
Gracyn has got a mind of her own and when she wants something, she finds a way to get it! She's beginning to try to be a little TOO independent!
Mommy helped her clean it up while Daddy got the pictures and vacuumed up the rest. 
Look closely....can you see Gracyn? She LOVES to be up on our bed--especially when it's made and all the pillows are on it!
Oh what fun we've been having at our house! Seriously, what a tough job potty training is! Everyone was telling me that she was ready and it "should" be easy--well it wasn't--at first. Gracyn, has a mind of her own--and she is good at reminding me of that! We sat on the little potty--- and sat, and sat--and she would sometimes go, and other times, wouldn't-(just to get up and pee pee in her panties.) I couldn't figure her out. She was deciding when and where she went and really didn't care. But as soon as she went in her panties, she would want them off and come to tell me. I was about to throw in the towel and try it again during Spring Break.
I decided to give it one more week....and what a change! I just started putting her up on the big potty--and she went! Just about every time I put her on there, she goes! She even came to tell me that she had to go on the first day and now she's coming to tell me when she needs to go poopy. WOOO HOOO! We sing a little song every time she goes and when she starts going she yells, YEA!! Of course, M&Ms are a great reward and she gets Dora gummy snacks for pooping in the potty. Whatever it takes.....but I think we're getting there!! :)
We even kept it up over at Mimi and Pop's. Towns thought it was so funny that Gracyn was just sitting there on the potty.
We've moved on to the (paper thin) character panties and she's been doing great! (I was a little nervous at first to give up the plastic panties, but she was ready.) She doesn't want Minnie or Dora to get wet or dirty. I even let her wear her panties to run quick errands. She only wears a diaper to bed or when we're going to be gone somewhere for a long time like church or BSF and I can't take her potty. Even then, her diaper is still dry and she'll go on the potty if they take her. YEA Gracyn!! What a BIG girl!!
Drew got tickets to the Alamo Bowl because Oklahoma State was playing in it. We were lucky enough to have Ryan and Virginia come over to watch the kids. We never get a picture of just the two of us, so I had Virginia take this before we left. We enjoyed a great night out and wish that we could do it more often!
Hudson is 6 months old! What a big boy he is!! He is moving around all over the place. I think he'll be crawling soon. He's been rocking on all fours for a while now and I keep waiting for him to take off any day. He's perfected the army crawl, that's for sure! He has a way of finding any little thing left on the ground--we're going to have to be careful now, and have Gracyn pick her small toys up off the floor.
He, like is sister, is fascinated with shoes...if they're left on the ground, he's drawn to them--and immediately they're in his mouth--GROSS, I know!
He's such a good sleeper now--what a rough time we had getting him to this point! He sleeps through the night, going down around 7:00 pm and is up around 6:30 am. (sometimes earlier!) He's my little early bird! I usually don't go in to get him until around 6:45. He just talks and babbles in his crib contently until I come to rescue him, or if it's really early, he'll fall back asleep. He's taking two good naps a day. I try and have the afternoon one coincide with Gracyn's--I usually get at least 30 minutes of peace and quiet with both of them asleep! :) He's really such a happy baby--unless he's hungry, tired, or his gums are hurting. He's really trying to get some teeth--poor thing! I keep thinking one should pop up any minute with as hard as he's been working on them! He's really found his voice too--just babbles away all day long. When he doesn't like something that Gracyn is doing to him, he quickly lets her know now....we're having to train her to listen for it. :) She's so ready for him to be big enough to play with!
Gracyn is such a great big sister...and she really loves her brother.
This little guy is a thumb sucker. As hard as I tried to get him to take a paci--the thumb has won! He does like his paci though--only for something to chew on!

We love you so much sweet Hudson!!Santa brought Gracyn a bike and helmet for Christmas. I think she was more excited about the helmet though. It's all about the accessories...
She loves playing with ALL of Hudson's newtoys...and thinks they're really hers. Hudson can't really "fight" her for them yet, but the day is coming I'm sure!
Grandmom and Grandad got Gracyn and Hudson a bouncer for Christmas. Gracyn LOVES it and Hudson really likes getting in there too--with me as his protection!
Gracyn LOVED Daddy's Mickey pajamas that Mimi got for him!
We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We were so excited to have Uncle Ryan and Aunt Virginia here with us. It gets a little crazy over at Mimi & Pop's house with all the kiddos running around. They have so much fun together though....
Uncle Ry-Ry always reads a Christmas book before we open presents. 
Aunt Ginia got Ryan a funny hat--that he asked for. He said it gets really cold in New York City and it would keep him really warm. Okay......
Mimi and Pop got Gracyn a table and chairs--which she absolutely LOVES!!
Hudson was there...he just went to bed just as all the festivities were starting....Introducing.............
