Hopscotch

Gracyn is on a hopscotch kick these days. I'm not sure where her obsession came from--but she is LOVING it! We set up a game in the garage the other day. 

 

She is so cute while she's playing!

And here's what this guy was up to while we were playing. He is OBSESSED with the water hose!

Oh, and he also enjoyed running down the sidewalk--away from me. He's gotten really good at that lately.

At least he came back on his own this time. Most days I have to chase him down!

Time Out Baby

This is where I found Hudson the other day--over by the time out chair. He had put the baby doll in the time out chair and said, "No!, No "bebe"!" while shaking his finger at her.

Then, he walked away for a bit and then went back over and picked her up and gave her a kiss.

Walking the Brother

Gracyn makes no secret that she wants a dog. I think she tells me or Drew on a daily basis that she'd like one. Unfortunately for her, we aren't really in the market for a pet these days. Maybe one day....

So, Gracyn decided having a brother was the next best thing. She thought she'd take him for a walk the other day using her jump rope. 

 

Hudson got tired of this game pretty quickly. 

His rest was little too long, and Gracyn eventually gave up on walking her brother. Better luck next time sister!

Backyard Fun!

These two have really starting having a lot of fun together--especially while playing in the backyard.

 

 I love to watch them play.

Last Day of School

   Yesterday was Gracyn's last day of school. Her last day to be a snail--next year she'll be in the Owl Class. I can't believe how much she has grown and changed this year! It's going by WAY too fast!

I made little pockets with my silhouette to hold gift cards for their teachers' gifts.

Gracyn gave these treats to her friends--a silly straw with a packet of Kool-Aid.

Boo Boo

Hudson fell and hurt his mouth the other day. Gracyn was such a sweet, concerned big sister.

She even gave him her most prized possessions, MinnieBlankey, to make him feel better.

Husband in Training

I'll go ahead and say "You're welcome," to Hudson's future wife. My little guy LOVES to clean! He's obsessed with the vacuum, mop and broom. Might as well train him up right and put him to good use! Ha! He does have a really good example though--his Daddy is a good cleaner too!

Little Driver

The other day, it was raining really hard. So to get in and out of the car without getting too wet, I got Hudson in and out of the front seat with me. He would NOT stop talking about driving! When we got home I let him pretend that he was driving while parked in the garage. 

He was into pushing EVERY button!

He loved playing with the seat belt--AND insisted on putting it on!

 He had the time of his life!

 

College Besties

Some of my college girlfriends and I got together for lunch the other day. Kristen came to town--giving Sam, Sarah and I the perfect excuse to get together. It's so sad that three of us live here--but we're all so busy and hardly see each other. :( So, when we do get to see each other, it's that much more special. I love these girls and how easy our friendships are--how we can pick right up where we left off, even if it's been months since we've seen each other. Here are 8 out of the 12 kiddos between the four of us. If we were counting all eight of us girls in our little group, there are 21 kiddos!! We missed you Mallory, Krissi, Sherry and Laura!!

 

We had to leave early because Gracyn wasn't feeling good--can't you tell? Little Miss Dramatic!!

Viva Fiesta!

I just found these pictures on my phone and realized that I never posted them last month. Fiesta is a big deal in San Antonio. We went to a few events...and Gracyn was THRILLED! Amber got tickets to the River Parade and we took the girls.We had GREAT seats! They loved seeing all the floats and watching the festivities. 

Clay Walker was the Grand Marshall and sang a few songs too!

Later in the week, we went to a party at Drew's office. H-E-Buddy was there and Hudson was his biggest fan! He couldn't get enough high-fives!

Surprisingly, Gracyn was a little timid when it was her turn to say hello.

Daddy helped her paint.

Hudson was all about doing it by himself.

They both got a new pair of H-E-Buddy shades--of course Gracyn picked pink.

Hudson loved spinning around in Daddy's chair--and we cracked up at seeing him so dizzy.

They both sure do love their Daddy!!
