My Little Book Worm
Hudson has really turned into a little book worm. He'll just sit down by himself and look at the books. The teacher in me is loving it!! He's always getting a book and bringing it over for us to read to him. Gracyn will even sometimes read him a book-and that just makes my heart melt! I'm so happy that he loves to read and pray that his love for books continues!

Playing Together
Gracyn and Hudson are playing together a lot more these days. I love hearing them playing and laughing together. They are definitely learning how to press each other's buttons too--just as any good brother or sister would. :)
The Cozy Coupe Car is a hit around here. I often think about getting another one because it is in such high demand between the two of them. But, it's so big and I really don't want it taking up any more space in the parking lot (aka, dining room.) I'll give a play by play of what went on here the other day--a typical scenario.

Gracyn-isms
I've had this written for the longest time, and just keep forgetting to post it. I wanted to write some things down that Gracyn says that cracks us up right now before I forget them. She is such a funny little girl!
She's says a "t" sound for a "k" sound. I love it when she says,
"Otay!" for okay.
"Tome on Mommy!" for Come on Mommy
"Titty Tat" for Kitty Cat
"Too-tee" for cookie
"milt" for milk
"Teentabell" for Tinkerbell
If something isn't the way it's supposed to be, she'll say, "That's not right..."
She's says "Alright" ALL the time. I've wondered where she got that--and then heard myself saying it and realized that I say it a lot and she must've got it from me!
She's also started saying, "Hold on," "Hold still" and "Just a minute" when we ask her to do things--she sure does pick things up quick!
She'll say, "Guess what Mommy/Daddy? I love you!!" Music to our ears!!
She's already planning her next birthday party. Everything she sees that she likes these days she'll say she wants it for her birthday--we'll see what sticks. She's pretty stuck on having a Toy Story party and wants to be Jessie for Halloween.
When you ask her where something is and she doesn't know, she'll say, "It's hiding."
She loves to build "barms" (barns) for her toys by stacking up blocks and putting a book on top. She also likes to build big "barms" using chairs, couch cushions and blankets for her to hide under. She usually asks me to help build her a "barm" at least once a day. :)
Minnie & "Bonki" (Blankey) are her two prized possessions. She told Drew that she loved her blankey more than Drew and me!! She's pretty attached!
She wears her sunglasses everywhere! If she gets out the door without them, she'll run back in yelling that she needs her "sunbasses." If we're already driving, she'll yell, "Stop the car Mommy! Turn around!" So, we now have spare pairs stashed away in both cars and all backpacks & diaper bags!
OH, HOW WE LOVE THIS LITTLE GIRL!!!!

Rain Boots
Right before nap time the other day, we got a little rain shower. I knew that the water wouldn't last through their naps. So, we put on our rain boots and went to play in the water. I had to snap a few pictures of Hudson before we went outside because he just looked so darn cute in his little froggie boots. There was NO WAY I could've taken pictures of him playing in the water once we got outside. It took both hands to keep him walking and splashing with his feet and not his hands!
