DoSeum Grand Opening Party

The new children's museum, DoSeum, opened up and we went to the Grand Opening party!! It was SO much fun!! I was worried that it would be so crazy crowded, but it wasn't bad at all. They had free drinks and snacks--and the kids thought that was standard. So when we went again, they were wondering where they all were?? Drew thought we'd be in and out in about an hour....2 1/2 hours later we had to drag the kids out. They loved it!! We are so excited about having passes and getting to go whenever we want to!!

They LOVED the wind tunnel!!
Who doesn't like to dig in the sand??
The outside playground is so fun!
But, I think their favorite part was the water centers outside. I was impressed that they didn't get too wet!
They had a blast in the Little Town area. Of course Hudson wanted to drive the car!!
Excited to fly the friendly skies!!
All aboard the Trolley!!
Construction work is serious business!!
Another one of their favorites was the ball room. All the balls collect in this container and then when it gets full, the doors open up and all the balls fall out. They got such a kick out of it!
We love the Doseum and can't wait to go back again and again!!

Gracyn's Beautiful Doll Recital

Gracyn had her dance recital. This year their song was "Beautiful Girl." And, that she is!! She did a GREAT job!!
We were SO proud of our little dancer. She looks forward to her bouquet of "pink" flowers every year!
Graycn and her dancing friends!
Precious!

HEB Fun Family Day!

HEB had a family fun day to celebrate their 110th Birthday!! It was SO much fun!! Gracyn got her face painted.
And I stood in line for a million years to get them these balloon creations. Gracyn wanted an Elsa wand (surprise, surprise!) and Hudson wanted Olaf.
While I was waiting in line, Drew took them all around to play. They jumped, played and slid down bouncy houses.
They rode a little train.
And climbed a rock wall.
We ate a yummy lunch and enjoyed ice cream treats for dessert. Thanks HEB for such a FUN day!!

Gracyn's Kindergarten Graduation

Well, it's official--we have a 1st grader! I still can't believe that Gracyn is done with Kindergarten. It went by SO fast!! We couldn't have asked for a better year! All our prayers were answered and she had the BEST teacher and a wonderful class full of friends!
Last bus ride to school as a kindergartner!
Last lunch with our favorite little girl! (She still cried when I left....every.single.time--she cried when I left her after lunch.)
Graduation!! They sang a sweet song--that made me tear up--and had a ceremony.

Our little 1st Grader!!
We LOVE Mrs. Greenwood!!!

Hudson and Mommy Day at Fiesta Texas

Another day, Hudson and I headed to Fiesta Texas to ride all the "scary" rides that Gracyn won't go on. We had a blast!! And, since everyone was still in school, we had to park mostly to ourselves--NO lines! Some rides we even rode multiple times in a row!!
We met Porky Pig!!
Rode the Scooby Doo ride.
We even went on the Sky Screamer!! He LOVED it!!
Drove the bumper cars!
And Mommy even went on the Gulley Washer. I normally don't like to get wet on rides...but since this was at the end of the day and I was wearing work out clothes, they dried fast. What Hudson wanted, Hudson got that day! ;)

Car Fanatic!

Hudson and I took advantage of our last week together before school got out. I planned all kinds of fun things for him and me to do. Our last "HURRAH!" (tear!)
First stop....the car dealerships for this car fanatic!! We went to the Ferrari/Maserati dealership first. They were less that enthusiastic to see us--but he LOVED seeing all these fancy cars!
After that, we went to the Audi dealership. The man couldn't have been sweeter!! He moved the seat up so he could really "drive" it. He was in heaven!!
Our last stop was to the Chevrolet dealership to see the Corvettes!
The salesman even gave him a bear!
If you ask him, this was the BEST.DAY.EVER!! He's still talking about it--and asking when we can get to the Ford dealership to see the Mustangs and the Volkswagon dealership to see the Slug Bugs. Hopefully, we'll get to stop by one day soon!
