Ava's Birthday Party

Ava had her Magical Unicorn Birthday party at the Kiddie Park this year. Much fun was had by all!!

Breakfast with Santa

Our church had their annual Breakfast with Santa this year. The kids had so much fun! We started off with a visit with Mr. Claus.

 

 Ava & Towns were there...poor Brier had a tummy bug. :(

We made gingerbread ornaments this year.

And enjoyed yummy pancakes topped with all kinds of candy, whipped cream, chocolate and syrup!

It's Christmas Time!

Gracyn had a great time helping me decorate for Christmas. She's really gotten into the spirit! It's fun as she gets older, because she's really understanding things more and more. The whole concept of Santa bringing things to GOOD girls and boys who make GOOD choices has really caught on. She sings "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" ALL day long. Maybe as a little reminder to herself?? :)

We went to the mall while Grandmom and Grandad were here and I thought we'd stroll down to get a look at Santa. There was NO ONE there, so we stopped in to say hello! They both hopped up on his lap and told him exactly what they wanted. Grandmom snagged this picture on her phone. :)

Hudson's Big Boy Bed

So, now that Hudson is pretty much fully potty trained, we decided it was time to convert his crib into a toddler bed. I, for one, am ready for him to be able to get up and go to the potty on his own in the middle of the night instead of yelling for me because he needs to go. We've had 2 successful nights of him getting up and going by himself. I'm dying with lack of sleep these days...it's like I have a newborn again!!

He thinks he's pretty big stuff with a new BIG boy bed. I was so worried that he'd be all over the place and we wouldn't be able to keep him contained anymore. But so far, he's been really good. He yells "I'm ready to get out of my big boy bed!" when he wakes up and we go get him. I'm not sure he's aware of all the freedom that's at his fingertips!

I thought I'd include this (typical) picture of the two of them fighting over the ipad. It's a hot commodity around here. Once it gets to this level though, it goes into toy time out and no one gets to play with it. :(

In one week, Hudson went from being a baby to a big boy--no more diapers or crib! My baby isn't a baby anymore!!! :( We're so proud of him!!!

Grandmom & Grandad's Visit

We love it when Grandmom and Grandad come to visit!! We just wish that they could've stayed longer!

Gracyn's 4th Birthday Party

Gracyn's current obsession is all things princess. So, you can guess the theme of her 4th Birthday party. We decided to have it at the gymnastics place again...since it was so easy and she had so much fun there last year. 

Here are the invitations that I made.

 I tried to get around the "character" princesses by using one on her invitations that looked like her. She LOVED it! :)
