Deep Creek Lake Summer 2013--Part 1

We had a wonderful week visiting Grandmom and Grandad at their Deep Creek lake house. The weather could not have been more perfect...even if it was a little too chilly for me to actually put on a swim suit and get wet! :) It didn't stop the kids or Drew! We were so glad that we got to see Uncle Greg, Casey and Cole--even if it was for just a few minutes!!

Drew got up and skied!! It'd been 10 years since he'd done it last. The kids were VERY impressed!!

Gracyn was all about tubing--I was a little shocked at first about how quickly she decided to jump in and try it! She looked so small out there in the middle of the lake!
She had a BLAST!! She rode with Carly...and they flew off the tube into the lake! Nearly gave me a heart attack!

When we got her out, she was all smiles and couldn't wait to get back in again!

 After sitting in the tube with Aunt Laurie, Hudson thought he'd give it a try too!
 
He liked it...but not as much as Gracyn. He only went a few times.

He did enjoy kayaking with Daddy though!

Uncle Ryan came down to see us at the lake and he went tubing too!

Just for reference, this is her "stink" face--when she doesn't get her way! Believe it or not, I do see this face quite often! Ha!

Daddy got to go white water rafting on the mountain one day. It was a rainy morning--and the water was quite chilly, so I decided to sit this one out. Smart move on my part, but Drew said he had the time of his life!!
