Lately...

We're loving being outside these days!! The kids want to "chalk" ALL day long!! The other day we made Huddy a town for his cars...complete with an HEB and Target--you know, the important things! 

These two FIGHT over who is going to help me mop. I have to divide up the space so they both get an equal amount of floor. I also have to "let go" of the perfectionist in me and consider their job good enough and let it be done.

I'm thankful I have such helpful kiddos!!

They wanted to have a sleep over in the play room the other night. Gracyn made a checklist of things to do during a sleep over that we had to do so she could check them off. We didn't have all the ingredients for smores, so we improvised. We told ghost stories in the dark with a flashlight too. Then, Drew turned on a movie thinking they would fall asleep--NOPE!! They watched the WHOLE thing and stayed up til 10:00!! They were so quiet though and we never heard a peep, so we thought they were asleep! Next time we'll pick a shorter show or start a movie at 6:00!! Once Peter Pan was over though, they went right to sleep.
