All She Wants for Christmas....

All she wants for Christmas is her two front teeth!! Gracyn finally lost her other top tooth. It's been loose for ages! It was hanging on by a thread when I picked her up from school. She was really hoping she'd lose it at school so she could get a tooth necklace to wear around her neck! Mrs. Greenwood told her that if she lost it that night, she could bring it back to school the next day in a baggie and she'd send her to the nurse to get her necklace. I knew it'd be coming out that night--there's no way I'd let her go to sleep with it dangling in her mouth like that!
 
 Well, she ended up pulling it out herself that evening. She went into the bathroom to wash her tooth so she could take it to school. She filled up the sink with water and pulled up the stopper to clean it. Drew walked in there a little later and unplugged the stopper while she was in there....and her tooth went down the drain! He had NO idea what she was doing or that her tooth was in there! He was afraid the sink was going to over flow! Needless to say, it was a traumatic experience. After some consoling and convincing that the Tooth Fairy would still come, she calmed down. She has another loose tooth too, so that helped. :)  We wrote a letter to the Tooth Fairy so she would know and understand why her tooth wasn't there.

The Tooth Fairy felt so bad about what happened, that she gave her an extra gold dollar coin. Gracyn couldn't believe it!! I'm SO thankful there was a happy ending to this ordeal!!
