Tower for Two

Look who's excited about being able to get up into the learning tower now?

Her face pretty much sums up how she feels. She tolerates him being up there with her, but isn't thrilled with the idea. I must admit, I'm a little worried about Hudson's safety while being in there with her. Gracyn can get a little wild and crazy!

I think this Mommy is going to love having her two little "helpers" right next to her...most of the time! :)

Hello Kitty!

They were giving away some Hello Kitty stickers and crowns the other day while we were at the store. Gracyn was so excited to get them! She went to town putting them all over her when we got home.

Pillow Bed

I made Gracyn this pillow bed the other day--she LOVES it! I got the idea from another blog, and it's just about the easiest thing to make! You just take 4 pillowcases and sew them together.

My mom appliqued her name on the top pillowcase, and then I sewed the rest of them together.

It's really meant as a travel bed--so you can fold it up and take it to a hotel with you and just ask for extra pillows to make an instant bed for your little ones.
But, since we don't travel too often these days, I thought Gracyn would enjoy laying on it around the house--and so does Hudson!

I think he might need one too!

To be honest, it's pretty comfy when you put it on the couch and lay on it! Maybe we all need one! ;)

McKenna Children's Museum

We met my good friend, Jamie, and her three girls, at the McKenna Children's Museum the other day. Gracyn and Hudson had a ball! Hudson and I were worn out trying to keep up with Gracyn. Now that Hudson is walking, I think it will be a little easier for us to keep up with her and for Hudson to play too the next time we go.

Hudson loved playing with this baby. Her carried her all around with him for quite a while. Gracyn had so much fun driving the ambulance and making the lights go on and off .

Highlights

My Nana got Gracyn a subscription to the Highlights magazine. She gets so excited when it comes in the mail. She's really just now gotten interested in reading it. She wants to read and take it everywhere these days....in the jogging stroller while on our morning run, while she's eating, shopping in stores... I don't let her take it everywhere though. Here she is with it in the car on our way to HEB. She even enjoys reading it while she's going potty!

Like I said, she tries to take the magazine with her just about everywhere!

Hudson's Hat

Gracyn got this hat at Chick-fil-a. I thought I'd put it on Hudson really quick. We all got a good laugh! Little cutie!

The New Mickey Store!

They closed the Disney Store in the mall so they could do renovations. Gracyn couldn't wait for it to open again. We went to check out the new Mickey Store the other day--and it did not disappoint! Gracyn had a ball! They have a castle with mirrors inside...

a huge screen playing movies with tables and chairs...and all the toys a toddler's heart could dream of!! We went to get Jesse from Toy Story, but of course we had to get Bullseye too! And, Hudson needed a few new friends....Gracyn picked them out and of course started asking if Hudson would share with her. :)She can't wait to go back!
