Memorial Day

We went over to Mimi & Pop's for Memorial Day. We grilled some yummy dinner and had fun just hanging out together in the back yard.

18 Months!

Gracyn is 18 months old! Seriously, the past year and a half has FLOWN by!! She's growing up so fast!! We are so in love with this little girl and are blessed to be her parents. We can't wait to see what a wonderful big sister she'll be! This is probably the last monthly "birthday" picture I'll be taking of her for a while. Hudson will be 1 day old and we'll still be in the hospital when she turns 19 months. Oh the joys of what's to come!! :)Gracyn is in the 95% in height at 34 inches and in the 50% in weight at 25 lbs. 10 oz.

She had just woken up from her nap when I took these pictures and was ready to go! It was hard to get her to sit still long enough to snap a picture!

Being Silly

Gracyn likes to put everything on her head. I really have to watch her, because anything and everything can end up on her head. I know we probably should've taken this box off right away, but we were cracking up at how funny she looked and Drew wanted to get a few pictures first.

Backyard Fun!

We got Gracyn a water activity table, and quickly learned that she needs to be in her bathing suit or just in her diaper when playing with it. She drenched herself the minute she got her hands in it. She had so much fun though.

She was cleaning off all her graffiti work from the side walk chalk with her wet hands. She likes to try and drink the water.

Dancing to the music from her sit & spin. We got her pool out for her to play in too. She's still not the biggest fan. As soon as she got in, she wanted out. She's signing and saying "all done" here and was ready to get out as soon as she got in.

Big Girl Bows

FINALLY.....Gracyn has some hair! Granted, it's only growing in the back and some on top, but at least it's growing! The sides are still pretty bare. Her hair is coming in just like mine did though. There is just enough on top to hold a little bow. I've really been working with her on trying to keep it in. She's getting better....She's got the sweetest little curls in the back that are just SO cute!! We're also trying to move on to the real head bands with bows. She likes to take it off and put it back on herself. They slide forward a little bit, but she pushes them back on her own. I'm not sure if she's ready for them or not....we'll see.

She's looking like such a big girl though!

Swimming at Nana's

We went swimming today at Nana's. We were waiting for Ava and Towns to get there so I got a few pictures with my phone. I was too busy once we got to the pool to take any more... :(

Gracyn wasn't the biggest fan of the water....maybe it's because she took at header into the water as soon as she got into the baby pool. As long as she was glued to my side, she was okay. Hopefully she'll get back to loving the water again.

Act Fast....

When I do the laundry, I have to be quick to fold and put things away. If not....Gracyn has the time of her life getting into them and unfolding everything! She can do it in the blink of an eye too...that girl is fast!! Here she is with my pajamas....Playing Peek-a-Book with Drew's running shorts!
