Here are a few questions that I asked Hudson--some of his answers cracked me up!!

 

 1. What is your favorite color? "Blooo"

2. What is your favorite toy? "My excabator" and my Hot Wheels Tars!

3. What is your favorite fruit? "Stawbewies" & "Gapes" (strawberries and grapes)


4. What is your favorite tv show? Mickey!

5. What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch? "Nachoth" (Nachos)

6. What is your favorite outfit? Striped shorts and taxi cab shirt

7. What is your favorite game? at the bowling alley

8. What is your favorite snack? "fwoot snacks" (fruit snacks)

9. What is your favorite animal? "dow" (Cow)

10. What is your favorite song? New York to L.A. & Hi Ho!

11. What is your favorite book? Any book about NAKES! (Snakes)

12. Who is your best friend? "Dathyn" (Gracyn)

13. What is your favorite cereal? "tookie tispth" (Cookie Crips)


14. What is your favorite thing to do outside? "bow bubbles"

15. What is your favorite drink? apple juice

16. What is your favorite holiday? "Eather" (Easter)

17. What do you like to take to bed with you at night? My bucket of Tars

18. What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? "pantates" (pancakes)

19. What do you want for dinner on your birthday? "Port Chopth" (Pork Chops)

20. What do you want to be when you grow up? "Not a rath tar dwiber--betauth dey too fatht!" A polithman. (Not a race car driver--because they too fast! A policeman.)

Family Movie Date

 Hudson filled up his pom pom jar, so we decided to go see Monsters University for his reward. Gracyn was really happy with this choice! :) They were both thrilled to have Daddy at the "moobie feater" with us!

They jumped right on the snail for Turbo and asked for me to take their picture. Two little cuties...how could I resist?? :)

It was a cute movie and we all had a great time together!

 

 

It was a nice way to stay cool on the record 108 degree day!

 

Happy Birthday, America!

 We enjoyed a fun family day to celebrate America's Birthday. We met Daddy for lunch at Cracker Barrel. Gracyn was thrilled that she got to sit next to Daddy.

 Hudson...not so much. What about me?? Doesn't anyone want to sit by Mommy?

 

 

 Here's a look at these two last year....my how they've grown!! Huddy looks like such a baby!!

 When we explained to Gracyn that July 4th celebrates America's birthday, she asked if we were making a birthday cake and having a party. So, we did! A birthday cake isn't complete without sprinkles and princess figurines and Hot Wheels on top!

Someone helped lick the bowl!

And, of course we had to sing Happy Birthday to America!

And...blow out candles too!

Then we went to watch the fireworks. Meme, Pop and Nana decided to head home and not watch them with us.

 

The kids LOVED it!

 

 

 We had a GREAT view, without any traffic afterwards...win/win!!

These two...

...Have to wave goodbye and "watch them go"--to anyone that is leaving our house.

She was particularly sad one evening when I was leaving to go out with some girlfriends. She gets really sad sometimes when I leave her and she says it's because she's just going to miss me so much. Love her sweet heart!!---But, Mommy needed a night out with friends! :)

These two....think that we have to stop and play at the new church playground every Sunday now when we're leaving. They LOVE it!

These two....love pedicures! All Drew asked for on Father's Day was for me to give him a pedicure. (If you've seen the shape his feet are in or know of my aversion to feet--then you'd know how much I love my husband!) :) They each wanted in on the action and LOVED it!

 

These two....LOVE donuts for breakfast!!

These two...love the mannequins at Old Navy. Gracyn asked me to take a picture of her with them--Hudson hopped up there at the last minute.

 These two.....love playing in the rain. They love to bust out their rain gear any chance they get!

 These two....have my heart!

Summer Movies

We've been going to the free summer movie every week. The kids are LOVING it!! And, it's a great way to stay cool and kill a couple of hours at the same time! :)

We went to the first one by ourselves. We saw "The Lorax."

The next week we went with the cousins to see, "Rise of the Guardians." They all did great and had so much fun together!

They loved "Rio." Hudson does really well--but is ready to go close to the end. When his food runs out, so does his patience. :)

Gracyn's Dance Recital

Not to be overshadowed by Hudson's birthday, but Gracyn had her dance recital that same Saturday.  Gracyn was a Groovy Chicken...."and her feathers shake, shake, shake!!"

 After getting up on stage for the dress rehearsal--she came home saying that she wanted to do dance again. Especially after the real thing, she was sold! So, I signed her up again for the fall. :)

I did an awful job taking pictures of the actual dance. Good thing Drew got a good video! (She's on the back row on the left.)

One of the things that she liked the most about the whole thing was being able to wear make-up. She couldn't wait for me to put it ALL on her!!

So proud of our little chick!

 

 

 She LOVED getting her pink flowers!

After the recital we went to eat dinner at Perico's. They had a bounce house there...and we joked that they knew that it was Hudson's birthday party day!

  

We had a wonder-FULL day of celebrating both of our precious little ones. It was a crazy day of partying and dancing and we loved every minute of it!!
