We spend Christmas Eve at Meme and Pop's house every year. We have a buffet of appetizers and eat until our heart's content! We also have a "Happy Birthday Jesus" cookie cake. We sing Happy Birthday and I put on five candles for each cousin to blow one out. We let Brier go first since he has a tendency to blow out everyone elses!

For whatever reason, Hudson just loves Uncle Mal. He's up sitting in his lap every chance he gets! We all get quite a little chuckle out of it!

Meme reads a new Christmas book every year.
Then we open presents. We try and keep things somewhat under control--but is always turns into a crazy mess! They're having fun--and we haven't accidentally thrown away any presents yet, so I guess that's all that matters.

And these three little amigos' shirts too! Meme and Pop got all the kids head flashlights--and they have been the biggest hit! They all LOVED them!
We got home and quickly got our cookies ready. We had all our friends over the day before to decorate cookies for Santa--but I forgot to take a single picture. Fun was had by all though!
They went to bed quickly in anticipation of what was coming in the morning.....
