We woke up to find that Santa had come!
They were SO excited to see what all Santa had left them!
Hudson was beyond excited when he saw all the trucks that he'd been wanting. All he could scream was, "HE GOT ME THE TRUCKS THAT I WANTED!!" over and over again--as he came down the stairs and sat in front of them. To say that he LOVES them would be an understatement.
Gracyn just asked Santa for something with Princesses. I think the roller skates were a big hit and she thinks she's pretty cool stuff with them on. We just need to learn how to skate now....but we are prepared with all the safety gear! Princess helmet--check....Princess elbow pads, gloves and knee pads--check...Princess skates--check!
Then we got busy opening the presents from us under the tree. I LOVE how excited they get about the littlest things. Hudson kept saying, "NO WAY!" when he'd open a present--cracked me up every single time!
She was pretty excited that she got the Princess Candyland game that she'd been wanting. She'd already told me she was going to be buying it with her Christmas money--that stuff is burning a hole in her pocket!! Now, she doesn't have to. :)
She got a high chair so Rebecca can sit at the table and eat with us. Because, didn't you know, she is a part of our family now. :)
She also got a carrying case for Rebecca so she can take her over to Meme's or Ava's house and they can play with their dolls together. She has it on her back like a backpack and her princess luggage in hand. She's ready to go!! Ha!
She also got her first box of 64 crayons--which she couldn't believe that it had SO MANY colors!!
Playing a game of Princess Candyland. Hudson dropped out of the game pretty quickly--which was just as well since he wasn't following the rules and just putting his princess wherever he wanted to and it was driving Gracyn NUTS!
Hudson got a box of Superhero Under Roos boxer briefs--and fell in LOVE with them!! "Dere like shorts Momma!" Ha!
Then we got ready and headed back over to Meme and Pop's for Christmas lunch. (We won't talk about my disaster of pies!) Christmas and Thanksgiving meals are my very favorite of the year. YUM!!
Look at this group of CrAzY cousins!
A few days after Christmas, Grandmom and Grandad came to visit. They got to open all their presents from them. It was like Christmas just kept going and going....which was just fine by them!! Gracyn got more outfits for Rebecca and some Princess Lego sets.
Hudson started his collection of Legos...and so it begins! I'm already planning on figuring out a way to keep them organized and contained. He's LOVING them though!
They also got these really cool plates!
Merry Christmas!!
