The kids have a Fiesta Parade at preschool every year during Fiesta. Hudson had to make a float this year, and Gracyn got to decorate and ride her bike. I was hoping that Hudson would want to use the ship we made last year for Gracyn's float. AND.....he was totally on board--until Gracyn suggested a Hot Wheels ramp! So, we went with the Hot Wheels ramp instead. I was really surprised at how much he got into it. I figured he'd want to paint a little and then be done. But, he had his hands on it and opinions from start to finish!!
He was SO proud of it! It was just what he wanted!! :)
Gracyn decided that she wanted a unicorn on the front of her bike. So, I drew a silhouette of a unicorn, and she got busy painting. We also glued rhinestones all over the mane. She was quite please with it.
The parade was supposed to be the day before we left for Maui, but they had a funeral at the church and had to move it to Thursday. So, Drew and I missed it! I was SO bummed about it since I we worked so hard on everything!! Thankfully, we had lots of friends and family take pictures for us so we could feel like we were there. (One of us actually got to kind of be there with face time during the parade but the other didn't get to see it because someone didn't wake them up. I'm not going to name names....and I'm not bitter at all!) :)
Best Friends!
Viva Fiesta!
