Maui Anniversary Trip

Drew and I just spent a glorious week in Maui celebrating our upcoming ten year anniversary. We went there on our honeymoon, and stayed at Kaanapali Beach-but this time we stayed at Wailea Beach at the Fairmont....and it was absolute perfection!! This was the first time we'd left the kids for this long. The longest we'd ever been gone before was a weekend. Grandmom and Grandad flew in and kept the kids for the first half and then passed them off to Meme and Pop. They had SO much fun with their grandparents!! A family picture before we left!

Here we are--ready for the long flight ahead! Thankfully, Drew upgraded us to first class--I'm not sure I can ever fly coach again! You are so spoiled and well taken care of up there!!

Every morning we got up and went for a run. They had a paved trail that ran along the beach. We even did some yoga and boot camp classes. One morning we went on a canoe trip. I ended up getting sea sick--and I've NEVER gotten sick! I'm not sure what was going on--usually it's Drew that gets sick, but he was fine.

We went paddle boarding twice--and I LOVED it!!(I never fell off the board once!) Drew had a bit of a struggle the first time we did it. But, on the second time he didn't fall once! It really is SO much fun!! This is a horrible picture since I was so far out, but it's all I've got.

After our morning exercise, we'd spend the day right here....

I read six books in a week--it was heaven!!

We did spend a little time at the pool and spotted a celebrity in our hotel. It's "Badger" from Breaking Bad! We heard his voice first and Drew and I turned to each other and said, "It's Badger!" We saw him at breakfast a few times too.

We ate a lot of delicious food!! And, you can't beat the sunset while having dinner outside.

Ten years of wedded bliss!!
